1. Membership Fee & Payment
The membership costs $65 per month and includes unlimited baths and grooming services listed below.
If you sign up between October 1st and October 31st, you will receive the introductory rate of $45 per month. After this date, new sign-ups will be charged $65.
Payment is processed on the day you join, and the membership will auto-renew on the same day each month using the card on file.
If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your card up to three times. If all attempts fail, your membership will be terminated, and it will remain inactive until reinstated by you.

2. Membership Services
The membership includes unlimited access to the following services each month:

• Bath with ear cleaning

• Anal gland expression

• Teeth brushing

• Nail trim and grind

• Deshedding and brush-out

• Blow out and fluff

• Accessory and fragrance application

Add-on services, such as trims and haircuts, are not included in the membership and will be charged separately based on the weight of your dog.
NOTE: Daycare services requesting a bath will be changed to a grooming service. Membership does not include free or complimentary Exit Baths for boarding services.

3. Appointment Scheduling
Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Preferred booking method is through the client portal, but you can also schedule via text message, email, social media messenger, or phone call.
Check-in times for grooming are between 7:30 and 9:00 AM, and all appointments include daycare for the day.

4. Vaccination Requirements
Before any grooming services can be provided, you must submit proof of the following vaccinations:

• Rabies

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

• Parvo Combo

Vaccination records from Mexico are accepted if the documents are clear, legible, and meet our requirements (i.e., pet's name, vaccine details, vial label attached). Incomplete or unclear documentation will not be accepted.

5. Flea & Tick Policy
If fleas or ticks are found during grooming, a $45 removal fee will be applied. This service ensures the dog is treated properly before continuing with the groom.

6. Aggressive or Fearful Dogs
We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog displays aggressive or fearful behavior that poses a risk to staff or the dog.
However, we may offer additional services to help reduce aggression or fear through specialized training, which will incur additional fees based on the severity of the case.

7. No-Show & Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a $10 cancellation fee will apply.
If you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice, a $25 no-show fee will be charged.

8. Refund & Membership Pause Policy
No refunds will be issued for services already provided.
Refunds for unused memberships may be issued in the form of store credit if a written request is submitted and no services have been used during that billing period.
Memberships may be paused for up to one month with a written request due to special circumstances.

9. Membership Reinstatement
If your membership is canceled due to non-payment or voluntary termination, and you wish to rejoin, you will not be eligible for any past promotional offers, such as the introductory $45/month rate.

10. Non-Member Grooming Costs
Non-members can still receive grooming services at $65 per session, which includes the same services as membership (bath, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, teeth brushing, nail trim, deshedding, blowout, etc.).
Add-on services, such as trims or haircuts, are charged based on the dog's weight:
Trims: Small (1-25 lbs) $15, Medium (26-55 lbs) $20, Large (56-75 lbs) $25, X-Large (76+ lbs) $35.
Haircuts: Small $25, Medium $35, Large $45, X-Large $55.

11. Grooming Safety & Health Policies
Certain services included in the membership, such as anal gland expression, deshedding, teeth brushing, and others, may not be performed if doing so could cause discomfort, harm, or injury to the dog or groomer. The groomer will assess each dog’s condition before and during grooming to ensure safety.
Clients may request that certain services not be performed during a grooming session; however, no discounts will be provided if services are declined.
Clients may bring their own shampoo for use during grooming at their discretion. However, we reserve the right to refuse service if your dog has contagious skin conditions, such as Ringworm or other highly contagious conditions, to ensure the health and safety of other pets in our care.

12. Changes to Terms, Conditions, Services, and Prices
We reserve the right to change, add, or alter these terms and conditions, as well as any of our services, prices, or policies at any time, without prior notice.

If California law requires us to notify clients of changes to terms and conditions, services, or pricing, we will provide such notice as required by law.

If no legal requirement exists to notify clients of changes, we will not be obligated to provide such notice, and the changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website or client portal.

13. Policy on Matted Dogs
If a dog scheduled for a bath, haircut, or trim is found to have matting, the pet parent understands that an additional de-matting fee will apply. This fee is based on the severity of the matting and the size of the dog and is not included in The Spaw Club membership price; it will be added as a separate charge per occurrence.

De-matting fees range from $45 to $125 and will be added to the service at check-out. We will do our best to inform pet parents at check-in, or as soon as possible afterward, about the severity of matting and any additional fees.
If a dog scheduled for a bath or trim is so severely matted that de-matting would cause pain or discomfort, our groomer may determine that shaving is the only humane option. In this case:

• The groomer will contact the pet parent to discuss the situation and options before proceeding.

• If the service is adjusted to a full groom due to the matting severity, the appointment will be charged as such, based on membership rates and may include an additional de-matting fee.

This policy ensures that we prioritize the comfort and well-being of each dog in our care.
